about the project

in 2017, the partners of the already established restaurant tanit reached out to crudo to help them develop the brand for their new tapas bar, which would be built next door to tanit. since it was a sub-brand, we developed the name, logo and graphic materials (including menus, business cards, parchment paper, drink labels, etc.) with that in mind.

inspiration:
how to create a sister restaurant of the already known tanit - which shares the same chef, street, partners and catalan inspiration - without losing its uniqueness? this was our main challenge for this project. we suggested a sub-brand strategy for naming the bar, but with the architecture and decoration completely different from its older sister. the result is the relaxed vibe, colorfulness and happiness in nit.
