about the project

crudo was invited to study the hospitality, food & beverage market in rio de janeiro for the arrival of the first fairmont hotel in latin america. based on a brand diagnosis and the ‘carioca’ culture, we came up with concepts, naming and visual identities for their restaurant (marine resto), coffee shop (coa&co) and hotel bar (spirit copa). on top of that, we created graphic pieces such as uniforms, gelato packaging, menus, business cards, parchment paper and napkins for each POV.

inspiration:

the project of the food and beverage POVs on the hotel considered that it was the launch of the first fairmont in latin america and in rio de janeiro; therefore, crudo needed to find the perfect balance between the luxury of the canadian brand and the relaxed carioca lifestyle. the marine restaurant, coa & co coffee and spirit bar projects were developed with the goal to attract not only hotel guests, but also the general public.
